I wonder if I can explain how much I miss shooting film. If I had a million dollars, I think aside from buying a house somewhere really cool, I’d probably set up my own darkroom in that house. I’d also probably buy a bunch of Holga cameras and show all of my friends how fun it is to shoot with them.
Mangiare was a pizza parlor located across the street from the famous Swiss bakery in Tegucigalpa. They specialized in gourmet pizzas and had a monthly pie on special.
February’s monthly was called the Aloha Pizza.
“Caro Babbo” (2008) was my first — and so far is my only — experience in filmmaking. I’ve kept it close to my heart and hidden away for over seven years, but this weekend I decided to upload it to YouTube to share.
It is a short film with voice-over in Italian.

What lighting conditions could be better than magic hour for silhouette photos?
I was fortunate to have the perfect models, set in the perfect scene, for this impromptu photo shoot. These were a ton of fun to shoot, and it only made it better that I took them while I was on vacation in Roatán, Honduras with a few friends.
